The calendar of Prato Nevoso is always so full of events that it attracts tourists from all over Italy. The resort has been able to reinvent itself and is forever bringing new events to its calendar outside of the religious holidays, with the addition of these new events is the creation of a truly unique atmosphere.     Prato Nevoso however is not only for those who ski, thanks its numerous activities this resort is both fun and relaxing for all.
One of the many activities that allows its participants to experience the thrill of speed on the snow is ‘snow –tubing’, also available for those who want to experience breathtaking curves on the snow but are not necessarily keen to put on skis or a snowboard there are snow ‘GO KARTS’ and ‘snow-mobiles’. For  those who are looking to find an activity where they can take things more at their own pace there is an ice rink where you can twirl and glide around until your heart’s content.
Throughout the whole winter there are numerous ‘Freestyle’ contests (both ski and snowboard) and various other recreational events that allow participants of every age and ability to enter.
A characteristic that has made Prato Nevoso famous over the years is its ‘Night Skiing’, both pistes 1 and 2 (fed by the main 4 man chair lift) are illuminated and it is possible to ski between the hours of 20.00-23.00 4 nights a week.  Also open during this time (conditions permitting) is the resorts Snowpark, also fully illuminated, an area dedicated to freestylers (both skiers and snowboarders) and consisting of features suitable for all levels of riding ability.
